Symmetrical, large berries have intense red color inside and out.  Its fruits are excellent for fresh eating, pies, preserves and freezing. An everbearing variety, Albion strawberry exhibits resistance to verticillium wilt and phytophthora crown rot. Produces 1-3 pints per plant. Bears fruits from May to August. Everbearing strawberry plants, like Albion, do not send out as many runners as June bearing plants. Self-pollinating. Zones 4-8. U.S. Patent No. 16228.
