Join us for the hands-on blueberry pruning workshop at the decades old Glawe/Larson berry field across from Bear Creek Artichoke in South County on the 101. Pruning workshop covers hand pruning of new and older bushes for hobbyist gardeners. We’ll cover annual blueberry pruning, crop thinning, rejuvenation cutting, and general planting needs. Bonus discussion on basic tree and shrub pruning. Jeff Burns from Burns Organic Modern will be teaching and Samikshya Budhathoki from OSU Extension, Tillamook County will be facilitating this workshop.
Bring your own work gloves and pruners or loppers. We will have a few loaners for the morning, and disinfectant for all.
